# Members

> Invite teammates to your organization and understand what each role can do.

Members are the people in your Echod organization. Every member can see every project in the organization. There is no limit on the number of members on any plan.

Open **Settings > Members** to see everyone in the organization with their name, email address and role.

The person who creates the organization is its owner.

## Invite a teammate

Only the owner can invite people.

1. Go to **Settings > Members**.
2. Under **Invite a teammate**, enter their email address and send the invitation.

The teammate joins as a **Member** when they accept. Invitations are valid for 24 hours.

Before you can invite anyone:

* Your own email address must be verified. If it is not, a banner at the top of the app offers to **Resend email**.
* Your organization must have at least one project.

You can have up to 10 invitations waiting at a time.

## Manage pending invitations

Invitations that have not been accepted yet are listed under **Pending invitations**:

* **Resend** sends the invitation again, for example if it expired or went to spam.
* **Revoke** cancels it, so the link no longer works.

## Belonging to more than one organization

If you are a member of several organizations, for example as an agency working with clients, use **Switch organization** in the account panel at the bottom of the sidebar to move between them. Each organization has its own projects, plan and members.
